The Austin Community College Jazz Ensemble is teaming with Grammy-winning guitarist Redd Volkaert and vocalist Stacy Seals to present “Cowboy Christmas,” benefiting Austin flood relief efforts.

The show is set for Thursday, Dec. 12, from 7 to 9:30 p.m. at Patsy’s Café (5001 E. Ben White Blvd.). There is no cover charge, but donations will go to the Dove Springs Neighborhood Association to help those affected by the Halloween floods in Southeast Austin.

“We want to do whatever we can to help the community during this difficult time,” says Dr. Tom Husak, Jazz Ensemble director. “We are glad we can play a small role in helping folks get back on their feet.”

The ACC Jazz Ensemble is recognized for its ability to combine musical tradition and innovation, and the group has a decades-long commitment to playing benefit shows for charities and community organizations.
