ACC’s Transfer Academy is hosting “Transfer Essentials” sessions at most campuses in the coming weeks for students planning to transfer to a four-year university.

At each 1½-hour session students can learn the fundamentals of the transfer process along with helpful tips, including:

• Identifying and selecting a career/major in line with transfer plans
• Improving a transfer admissions application
• Applying for financial aid
• Adapting to university life and culture

Students also are invited to attend “Getting Interactive” sessions to get information and advice from representatives from several Texas universities and other ACC students.
