ACC exchange students from Denmark's Herningsholm Gymnasium visit Anderson High School in Austin.

A group of 29 Danish high school students has spent the past two weeks taking classes at ACC and experiencing everything Texas has to offer.

The ACC community is invited to stop by and greet the students before they return home at a reception Friday, Feb. 7, at 12:30 p.m. at Highland Business Center (5930 Middle Fiskville Rd., Rm. 103.6).

Since arriving Jan. 25, the students from Denmark’s Herningsholm Gymnasium have been studying Texas and U.S. history, business, and game development. Outside the classroom, they explored Austin and nearby attractions, including the Alamo, a San Antonio Spurs basketball game, and Mission San Jose. They also volunteered at the Angel House soup kitchen in Austin.
