Summertime activities? ACC’s Wellness Program can keep you healthy

Summer means time off for many: The college wants faculty and staff to stay healthy even when they’re away from campus.

“It’s great that people want to be more active in the summer – they just need to remember to take precautions,” says ACC Wellness Coordinator Gina Akin. To read her tips for dealing with summer temperatures, view Beat the Heat in Texas (pdf).

Prefer to stay indoors?

Those who want to avoid the heat can join an exercise class at any time. See a schedule of Access Wellness exercise classes.

The ACC Wellness Program website also offers an array of resources for healthy living, including information about nutrition, stress, addiction management, aging, emotional health, and more.
