The Austin Community College Art Department will host a reception for the student art exhibition “Monochrome” from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, October 16, in the ACC Rio Grande Campus Kramer Gallery, 1218 West Ave.

The exhibition, which runs through November 6, features juried artwork highlighting student artists’ creative solutions to a limited color palette.

Gallery hours are Monday through Wednesday 9 a.m.-9 p.m., Thursday 9 a.m.-5 p.m., and Friday 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Parking for the reception is free in the ACC Rio Grande Campus parking garage accessible from 12th Street.
