Elgin, Hays, and Rio Grande Campus students are invited to test drive a new online advising application available only at their campuses.
The application is part of a pilot program exploring ways to bring online advising and tutoring services to Austin Community College. Currently, students must visit a campus if they want to meet with an academic advisor.
Because the pilot project is limited, students wishing to use the application should visit the Elgin, Hays, or Rio Grande Campus. Your ACCeID and ACCmail are both required.
The pilot is offered in partnership with the Austin-based software developer SubjectMatter.
Students who use the application will be entered into a drawing to win one of three $500 tuition scholarships provided by SubjectMatter.

That’s great, Esther! You can log in from any of the campus computers.

I thought this was going to better option for students (current a potential) to be able to get advised/tutored from work or home. I wish that was an option. Some can’t always get to a campus. Great step forward though.

I just had the most thorough & in-tune help from the Adviser, Mitchell. WOW! Very articulate and careful to describe all points of my concern with regard to an out of state student, testing, residency, etc — YEA! ACC!
