ACC Employee Wellness: Promoting healthy living

Resolving to embrace healthy habits in the new year? ACC’s Access Employee Wellness can help.

“ACC has always promoted wellness, but in recent years we’ve expanded the number of classes and resources available to employees, and we’re seeing the positive results,” says Wellness Coordinator Gina Akin.

Fitness classes are getting underway at most campuses. Options include Zumba, yoga, boot camp, and stretching. View the schedule of fitness classes and workshops.

Classes are free as long participants attend at least 70 percent of classes in which they are enrolled; exceptions can be made for unforeseen conflicts. Also employees may add up to 30 minutes to their lunch hour — pending their supervisor’s approval — to attend a midday class.
