ACC hosts transfer events for students

Partnering universities will visit ACC campuses to provide next-step options

Austin Community College students looking to transfer to a 4-year university will have several opportunities this spring semester to discuss the transfer process, admission requirements, and programs of study with several surrounding universities.

Departmental advisors and admissions staff from Texas A&M, The University of Texas, and Texas Tech University will meet with students one-on-one at the events listed below:

Aggie Day at ACC

Feb. 25, 2015 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Highland Campus (6101 Airport Blvd.) First floor lobby

UT Marketplace

March 5, 2015 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Eastview Campus (3401 Webberville Rd.) Multipurpose Room 8500

Texas Tech Resource Fair

March 9, 2015 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Highland Campus (6101 Airport Blvd.) First floor lobby

ACC will also participate in the National Association for College Admission Counseling (NACAC) College Fair this year on April 7 from 5:30 to 8 p.m. at the Austin Convention Center. Students will have the opportunity to meet representatives from nearly 300 universities. Details about the college fair can be found at www.nationalcollegefairs.org.
