ACC 1-on-1 offers students personalized help with registration

Austin Community College (ACC) is hosting its popular 1-on-1 program from April 1 through April 30 to help prospective, current, and former students with personalized assistance and questions about classes, registration, and getting started at the college in advance of summer and fall registration.

In-person assistance for high school students is also available during ACC advisor office hours at participating schools in the service area.

“Students have so many questions and details to figure out as they prepare for college,” says Patricia Behr, ACC director of enrollment management. “The opportunity to go one-on-one for answers and guidance can ease the process and help students jump-start their own unique path to success.”

ACC offers more than 100 areas of study with day, evening, weekend, and online classes.

Students may contact college staff during ACC 1-on-1 through a dedicated hotline at 512- 223-7747 or at austincc.edu/getstarted. High school students will receive scheduling and availability details for in-person meetings at their high schools.

Summer registration begins April 6 for current and former students and May 4 for new students with classes beginning June 1 and July 8. Fall semester registration begins May 11 for current and former students and June 8 for new students. Classes begin August 24.
