Financial Planning Fair April 29

Human Resources Benefits is hosting the annual Financial Planning Fair Wednesday, April 29 from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Highland Business Center.

The fair and workshops give employees an opportunity to evaluate their long-term financial plans. Look for posters and fliers with details about individual sessions and room locations.

Employees should be granted time off to attend and should coordinate with their supervisors. Professional development credit is not available; however, employees who attend at least two sessions will be provided breakfast and/or lunch.

Performance Excellence Program (PEP)

The FY15 Performance Excellence Program (PEP) process is rapidly approaching. Employees are able to anonymously evaluate their direct supervisors with Upward Evaluations starting April 20. Please be professional and candid in your constructive feedback for your immediate supervisor. PEP employee evaluations run May 11 through July 31.

A few reminders with the online PEP form:

• Make sure all your certifications (ADA & SHP) are up-to-date as your supervisor cannot submit evaluations if you are out of compliance.
• All supervisors must complete their direct report evaluations before they can complete their own evaluation.
• Save your work every 20 minutes or the system will terminate your session.

Ready, Set, Retire webinar for higher education

Get the information you need to make informed decisions about benefits in retirement at the Ready, Set, Retire webinar presented by the Employees Retirement System of Texas (ERS) Monday, April 27, 2:30 – 4 p.m.
