This year’s State Employee Charitable Campaign kicks off Thursday, October 1, and continues until the end of the month.
The campaign gives employees the opportunity to contribute to dozens of charities directly involved with helping Central Texas residents, including the Capital Area Food Bank, the American Red Cross of Central Texas, Capital IDEA, and the Austin Humane Society. Employees also may give to several national and international organizations, such as the March of Dimes and Habitat for Humanity, or even to those in our own ACC community through the ACC Foundation.

Help ACC reach its goal
During the 2014 campaign, ACC employees contributed more than $52,000. This year, the college hopes to collect more than $70,000 in contributions.
How to give
Contributing to the campaign is easy: Employees may donate through a payroll deduction or make a one-time gift. Donation pledge forms can be obtained from designated SECC campus representatives (see below). Each campus also will have a “Change for Charity” competition to see which campus can collect the most money through donations of spare change. Look for collection points at campus managers offices.
For more information and instructions on completing the payroll deduction pledge form, visit the SECC webpage or contact Campaign Coordinator Nicole K. Bell at 512-223-7997 or [email protected], or a campus campaign representative. For information on the Texas SECC, visit secctx.org.
