ACC 1-on-1 expands services for spring registration

Austin Community College’s (ACC) popular 1-on-1 program is expanding its services by phone, e-mail, and in-person to give prospective, current, and former students personalized assistance and answer their questions about college ahead of spring registration.

“Students have so many questions and details to figure out as they prepare for college,” says Patricia Behr, ACC director of enrollment management. “The opportunity to go one-on-one for answers and guidance can ease the process and help students on their pathway to success.”

The College Destination Center @ACC (5930 Middle Fiskville Road), which launched in summer, is now open through spring registration to provide in-person help for anyone with questions about college and help with applying, career planning, degree/program information, and more.

ACC recruiters also will be at participating high schools in the service area to meet one-on-one with students interested in enrolling for college courses.

Students may contact college staff through a dedicated hotline at 512- 223-7747 or visit austincc.edu/getstarted. High school students will receive scheduling and availability details for in-person meetings at their high schools.

Spring registration begins October 19 for current and former students and November 16 for new students. Classes begin January 19.
