ACC hosts spring transfer events

Austin Community College (ACC) students looking to transfer to a four-year university will have opportunities this spring semester to discuss the transfer process, admission requirements, and programs of study with surrounding universities.

University representatives will visit campuses districtwide to meet with students one-on-one and answer questions. A complete schedule for transfer events, including Transfer Week, which runs February 15 through February 19, is available online.

“We want to make it easy for students to learn about the opportunities that are available to them,” says Dr. MaryJane McReynolds, ACC transfer and articulation resources director. “These events help students learn the ins and outs of the transfer process and get assistance preparing for the future with all the resources available at ACC.”

ACC Transfer Services and the Office of Student Life also will launch a new series of transfer events in spring. The Choose Your College events are open to students from 1 to 2 p.m. at the Northridge Campus Student Life Office, Building 1000, Room 1112 (11928 Stonehollow Drive) on the following dates:

  • February 17: Texas State University
  • March 2: Sam Houston State University
  • March 23: Angelo State University
  • April 6: Texas A&M University
  • April 20: University of Texas at Austin
  • May 4: University of Houston

All ACC transfer events are open to current and prospective students. For more information on transfer services visit austincc.edu/transfer or contact Renee Esparza at [email protected] or 512-223-7639.
