Austin Community College has appointed faculty coordinators for each of the college’s 10 areas of study. The coordinators will ensure instructional and support services within each area are aligned and complementary and will help develop activities to build student engagement and community.

Coordinators will work closely with instructional and student services deans and program chairs to ensure advisors have current information for each program in their assigned area of study. They will work with various college offices and groups on activities and opportunities for students, from onboarding and Area of Study Information Sessions, to Student Life events and other extracurricular activities, to transfer and career services.
Coordinators will regularly share information and ideas with faculty and staff through online discussion forums, social media, or other avenues. They also will assist with pathways-related data gathering and analysis.
