Austin Community College’s Music Business, Performance, and Technology (MBPT) Program will host an open house for prospective and current students, offering valuable information about the music and sound production business Saturday, August 6, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Northridge Campus, Room 4136 (11928 Stonehollow Drive).

Students and parents will have an opportunity to learn about the industry, visit a recording studio, walk through classrooms, and view examples of student work.

“The MBPT Open House is a great opportunity for students to view our facilities and meet faculty and staff,” says Pete Johnson, MBPT Department specialist. “We teach classes in a hands-on environment to train the future music industry workforce.”
