The Austin Community College District (ACC) joins the City of Austin and PRIDE Austin at the 26th annual Austin PRIDE Festival and Parade, a celebration of lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBTQ) culture.

ACC’s LGBT eQuity Committee, which strives to educate students, faculty, and staff on issues that impact the LGBTQ community, will host a decorated float at the PRIDE Parade Saturday, August 27. The event begins at 8 p.m. in front of the Capitol (1100 Congress Ave.) and culminates Austin’s PRIDE week. Students, faculty, and staff are invited to march alongside the float.
