Apply for money mentor program by Nov. 19

student-money-management-logo-novWould you like to develop good financial management habits? Or maybe you have some solid money managing skills to share.

Austin Community College’s Student Money Management Office is seeking applicants for a new Peer Money Mentor Program launching in spring. The office will select up to six students to develop and execute a project to help their peers build personal finance knowledge. Participants will meet Friday afternoons throughout spring at Highland Campus. Those who complete the program will receive a $500 stipend.

The program is open to current students who:

  • Have a GPA of 2.5 or higher.
  • Have completed at least 12 credits by the end of the fall semester.
  • Have an ACC completion rate of at least 80 percent.
  • Enroll in at least 6 ACC credit hours in spring.
