Apply now for fall scholarships; deadline is April 1

acc foundation scholarshipsNow is the time to apply for scholarships for the 2017-18 school year.

The Austin Community College Foundation offers hundreds of scholarships for a variety of majors and circumstances (see below).

Apply early

The deadline for priority consideration is Saturday, April 1.  Don’t delay — applying early is recommended.

To be considered, complete the online General Scholarship Application, including an essay. Students may upload letters of recommendation or request recommendation letters electronically. Current ACC students also must upload their ACC transcript.

Students only need to submit one application to be considered for all scholarships. Those who have applied previously should re-submit the form, even if they did not receive a scholarship.

“The applicant pool and the available scholarships change from year to year,” says Ann Schubert, coordinator of ACC Foundation operations. “If someone is in good academic standing at ACC, they should apply.”
