The Austin Community College District Center for Public Policy and Political Studies (CPPPS) and Government Department cohost Constitution Signing Day 6 to 9 p.m. Monday, September 18, at Eastview Campus (3401 Webberville Rd.) in Multipurpose Room 8500 to honor the creation and adoption of the U.S. Constitution.
The event will recognize the 50th anniversary of the landmark Supreme Court decision in Loving v. Virginia (1967) and includes a showing of the HBO documentary “The Loving Story” followed by a panel discussion and question-and-answer session.
The event is free and open to the community. Refreshments are provided.
