Registration underway for BACK TO WORK 50+ workshops

Austin Community College (ACC) is holding free information sessions and workshops to help women 50 and older find new careers, gain job search and computer skills, and build financial security.

The first spring workshop for the program, called “BACK TO WORK 50+ at Austin Community College: Women’s Economic Stability Initiative,” is Thursday, January 18, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Highland Campus, Room 1101 (6101 Highland Campus Dr.).

BACK TO WORK 50+ at ACC includes a set of integrated core services for qualified participants:

  • Job skills training
  • Employer access
  • Community building
  • Individual and group coaching
  • Computer skills coaching
  • Financial capability building

Scholarships are available for additional occupational training classes at ACC.

Additional information sessions and workshops will be held on the following dates:

  • Tuesday, February 27
  • Monday, April 30
  • Tuesday, May 29
  • Tuesday, July 10
  • Tuesday, August 21
  • Monday, October 1
