Transfer Week helps students plan their bachelor’s degree

Students planning for a bachelor’s degree can explore their transfer options and meet university recruiters during Austin Community College’s annual Transfer Week, held February 19-23.

The largest event is the Spring Transfer Fair, which includes visits from more than 20 colleges and universities, including out-of-state institutions.  The week also features a veterans transfer fair and an ApplyTexas application boot camp. A full schedule is posted on the Transfer Week website.

“We want students to start thinking about transfer early. Transfer Week is a great time to meet with universities, explore options, and attend workshops aimed at helping students plan out a seamless and successful transfer,” says Renee Esparza, director of Transfer Resources. “Anyone interested in earning a bachelor’s degree or pursuing education beyond ACC should consider attending any or all of the events.”

Transfer Week activities are open to current and prospective students. For more information on transfer services visit austincc.edu/transfer or contact Renee Esparza at [email protected] or 512-223-0180.
