ACC invites veterans, military members, and the community to the annual From Humvee to ACC veterans appreciation and resource fair Tuesday, April 10, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at South Austin Campus, Room 1130 (1820 W. Stassney Ln.).

The event is free and open to the public. It includes guest speakers, refreshments, entertainment, and activities for adults and children. Community veteran service organizations and the college’s Student Services representatives will be available to meet with veterans one-on-one. Groups include:

• ACC VetSuccess on Campus
• ACC Veterans Affairs
• ACC Student Accessibility Services
• VA VITAL
• Texas Veterans Commission
• Texas Workforce Commission
• Austin Vet Center
• Central Texas Veterans Healthcare System

This year’s fair also includes veterans transfer information.

The event is sponsored by the ACC Veterans Advisory Committee and Veterans Affairs Office.
