The award-winning Austin Community College Choir presents its spring concert series ‘Celebrate America’ at 7:30 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, April 29 and 30, at First Presbyterian Church of Austin (8001 Mesa Drive).

“This is a unique experience for our choir and the community,” says Virginia Volpe, ACC music professor and concert director. “Music is a vital part of Austin’s culture. We want to make sure opportunities to perform are open to everyone. Our choir is open to the entire region. We have ACC students, both music majors and non-majors, as well as the general Austin community performing.

The Anderson High School varsity choir will join the ACC Choir as guest artists during Friday’s concert.

The event is free and open to the public; tickets are not required.
