The Austin Community College District (ACC) will host an exhibit honoring abstract expressionist Neal Adams from August 24 through October 16 in the Rio Grande Campus Kramer Gallery, Building 3000 (1218 West Ave.).

A reception for the exhibit, entitled “Twenty-five Paintings,” will be 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, September 3, at the gallery. Artist Andis Applewhite will present a lecture on the late Adams and his work.

Admission is free. Gallery hours are 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. Mondays & Wednesdays, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesdays & Thursdays, and 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Fridays.
