Rawan Fakhreddine won the 2016 Eco bag contest. She is joined by Sustainability Coordinator Darien Clary, Mauri Winters, student life coordinator, Pinnacle Campus Manager David Tucker, and Roberto Enriquez, student life coordinator.

Fakhreddine, who plans to major in neuroscience and hopes to transfer to the University of Texas at Austin in spring, says she wanted to illustrate that ecosystems are connected and interdependent, and highlight the importance of protecting them.

“I wanted to portray all aspects of the environment and nature. What better way to do that than to use Mother Nature as the main inspiration,” she says.
