Apply now for summer 2017 Study Abroad programs

Applications are now being accepted for Austin Community College’s (ACC) summer 2017 Study Abroad programs.

ACC Study Abroad programs are held during the first session of the summer semester. Programs are two to four weeks in length, beginning with intensive course work at ACC campuses before students travel to the program’s country for a deeply involved cultural and academic experience.

“The ACC study abroad experience unlocked my potential for growth by exposing me to an international culture for the first time and fully immersing me in the language I’m learning,” says Silver Spirit, a former Spanish IV participant. “What I have gained from this program is invaluable and I’ll always cherish those memories.”

“ACC study abroad programs offer a great opportunity to combine academic study and international travel for a unique learning experience,” says William Hayden, ACC International Programs director. “Study abroad is a valuable way to build confidence and develop skills essential to academic and workforce success.”

Applications are due March 10. Summer 2017 study abroad programs include:

Costa Rica – Spanish III
England – User Experience Design
France – Pastry Arts
France – Government
India – Contemporary Social Problems
Italy – Art History
Italy – Hospitality and Culinary Internship
Spain – Spanish IV
