ACC’s Records and Information Management reminds employees that ARMA Austin is offering free shredding of household documents at its annual fall Shred Day Saturday, April 28, 2018 from 8 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. at ACC Highland, 523 E Highland Mall Blvd.

Citizens of Austin and the surrounding communities may bring boxes with fitting lids or securely closed box flaps of personal records to be shred for free.

• Accepted items: dry paper of any color in boxes with fitting lids that are no larger than 24-by-24-by-36 inches.
• Not accepted: hard plastics, plastic bags, electronic media, three-ring binders, rubber bands.

Monetary donations will be accepted with 50 percent of the proceeds going to Austin ARMA and 50 percent to the Central Texas Food Bank.
