Explore ACC college programs at Feria Para Aprender

Spanish-speaking families can learn more about Austin Community College at the ninth annual Feria Para Aprender on Saturday, February 21, between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. at the Highland Mall (6001 Airport Blvd.). Admission is free and open to the public.

The community event provides access to a variety of educational information and resources all in one location. ACC, is co-sponsor of the event.

The college will have representatives who can give enrollment assistance and information about college degrees and career-technical programs leading to well-paying jobs.

“Feria is an opportunity for Austin to become informed regarding all the options for their children’s education,” says Dr. Richard Armenta, associate vice president of student success. “It also allows parents who attend to look beyond the horizon and discover ways to further their job or career prospects.”

The Austin event is one of five Ferias in cities around the country, each drawing several thousand participants. For more information, visit the Feria Para Aprender website.
