HR Connection: PEP, Financial Planning Fair, Tuition Reimbursement, and More

The 2014 Performance Excellence Program (PEP) reviews for non-faculty employees is scheduled for May 5 – Aug. 1.

The online PEP system goes live Monday, May 5. Employees and supervisors should begin the evaluation process to have the reviews completed by the end of the PEP review cycle on Aug. 1. For more information view the Staff Evaluations webpage.

PEP workshops for employees and supervisors will take place on campuses through May 13. See dates and register through the Workshop and Event Registration database.

Financial Planning Fair – May 9

Plan to attend the annual Financial Planning Fair Friday, May 9, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at Eastview Campus. There will be presentations by the Social Security Administration, financial planning professionals, and an Austin attorney. Lunch will be provided to employees who attend two morning presentations. Tuition Reimbursements

Tuition reimbursements for the FY2014 summer session will be accepted beginning 8 a.m. Monday, June 2. The online application will be open until 5 p.m. Friday, June 6 for requests.

ERS Dependent Eligibility Audit

Employees Retirement System of Texas (ERS) has contracted with Aon Hewitt to perform a dependent eligibility audit for all dependents added since 2011. Employees who added dependents to their health benefits coverage since April 2011 should have received notifications in April. Employees are urged to respond to Aon Hewitt with the required documents by the June 13Â deadline. All unverified dependents will lose group benefits program insurance, including health, dental, and dependent term life.
