Alfred Darlington (a.k.a. Daedelus), presents “From Studio to Stage to Studio” on February 17.

Austin Community College students, faculty, and staff are invited to learn how technology and art can be combined to spark ingenuity and innovation at the spring Digital Art + Technology Forum speaker series.

The series features visiting artists/technologists/makers who will discuss how the availability of open-source technology is impacting the creative world. Speakers will present their work, offer tips, and discuss real-world uses of open-source technologies.

“We want to demystify STEM/STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts, and math) ideology by showing real-world examples of maker success,” says Meason Wiley, coordinator of ACC’s BatLab Makerspace.

All sessions are 7 -9 p.m. at the Highland Campus Social Staircase. Presentation dates and topics are:
