Your voice, your vote: Election Day information

Tuesday, November 4 is Election Day. In addition to several state, city, and county contests, voters will elect members to ACC’s Board of Trustees and decide three measures involving the college: two bond propositions and a proposal to raise the cap on the college’s maintenance and operations tax rate.

Bond, tax cap election information

The ACC Bond and Tax Cap Election website includes detailed information about the three proposals.

  • Projects in Proposition 1 include but are not limited to ACC Highland Phase II, a Leander campus, and land for a future workforce center.
  • Projects in Proposition 2 include but are not limited to older campus renovations and training facilities at Hays and Elgin campuses.
  • Revenue from the tax cap increase would fund existing projects and new initiatives, relieve pressure to raise tuition, and help hire and retain high-caliber faculty and staff.
