    1:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Whichever side of the political fence you are on, the long presidential election campaign and recent actions by both the new president and the Texas governor have created a lot of confusion, destabilization and uncertainty here in Greater Austin. Even resentment, anger and hatred. Particularly about “the other”.
This practical, interactive half-day workshop, led by ACC adjunct faculty member Jeremy Solomons, will help participants to:
  • Reconnect with their own deep values and their sense of what is important, fair and right
  • Learn some pragmatic models for having meaningful conversations and resolving conflict with others, whether it is across the political divide or work colleagues or family members or even noisy neighbors
  • Begin practicing new skills via role play with immediate peer feedback

This practical, interactive half-day workshop, which will follow a basic introduction to Cultural Excellence in the morning of March 8, also led by ACC adjunct faculty member Jeremy Solomons. Click here to learn more about the Cultural Excellence workshop.
