CASA of Travis County has a full-time Child Advocacy Specialist – Drug Court position available. The Child Advocacy Specialist will motivate, empower, guide and supervise CASA volunteers as they advocate in the best interest of children who’ve been abused or neglected and are now involved in a legal case with Child Protective Services. Additionally, the Child Advocacy Specialist will ensure that the mission of CASA of Travis County is carried out. This position will also participate on the Travis County Family Drug Treatment Court Team that serves families participating in that program. Flexible work environment.
Bachelor's degree required. Preferred candidates will have experience in providing staff or volunteer supervision and the ability to manage people as well as demonstrated commitment to diversity of thought and experience effectively working with a diverse population. English/Spanish fluency preferred.
