Data Quality Specialist

Communities In Schools of Central Texas is seeking two qualified Data Quality Specialists to work closely with the Performance Measures Coordinator, Chief Program Officers, and CIS program directors to ensure high quality campus-based services and program compliance through effective collaboration and communication across program levels. This program support position has responsibilities in several major areas including training, contract monitoring and compliance, and providing technical assistance and support for campus-based staff to operationalize contract requirements and implement best practices.

CIS of Central Texas provides services on public school campuses in Austin, Bastrop, Del Valle, Elgin, Kyle, Buda, Lockhart, and Manor. The Data Quality Specialist travels to multiple CIS programming sites each week for monitoring visits or other on-site support, and must have reliable transportation.

Requirements

  • A minimum of two (2) years of contract management and compliance, project management or progressively responsible non-profit management experience
  • Strong computer skills and demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong communication, organization and time management skills
  • Self-starter, equally adept working independently and as a member of a team
  • Demonstrated dependability, flexibility and creativity
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
  • Reliable transportation
  • Campus-based program experience with Communities In Schools is preferred

Essential Functions

  • Coordinate and actively participate in on-site monitoring visits to review campus service data, individual student files, and other contractually required documentation
  • Create and coordinate action plans based on monitoring findings to support campus based programing contract requirements
  • Create, implement, and monitor systems to ensure agency data is entered accurately and within required timeframes in to the CIS database
  • Provide technical assistance to support program standards across all levels at the direction of the Performance Measures Coordinator
  • Facilitate trainings on documentation standards, contract compliance, and the CIS database
  • Collaborate with program directors, campus-based program staff, and other departments to ensure best practice implementation through communication, program sharing, and resource sharing
  • Provide on-site technical assistance to Program Managers as requested by Program Directors
  • Participate in the CIS team approach to service delivery and problem solving
  • Promote and maintain agency culture, standards, and systems

Reporting Structure: This position is supervised by the Performance Measures Coordinator.

Minimum starting salary range $2,725-2,925/mo (based on experience and qualifications)
