The Central Texas Food Bank is looking for a dynamic Project Manager – Client Insights in our Research and Evaluation Department. The primary objective of this position is to develop a rollout strategy for standardized client data collection from partners across the Central Texas Food Bank’s (CTFB) 21-county service area. This position will manage CTFB’s client data tracking initiative which includes conducting a network readiness assessment, developing a rollout strategy and budget, and managing relationships with key client insights stakeholders.

Reporting to the Director of Research and Evaluation, and working in collaboration with other Program teams and colleagues across CTFB, this position will contribute to a deeper understanding of CTFB’s client population including their needs and patterns of service utilization. This is a 12-month, grant funded position with the potential to transition into a permanent position as funding allows.

As Client Insights Project Manager, you will:

Project Management and Relationship Building

  • Develop and manage an implementation strategy for a network rollout of service insights software and ongoing programming
  • Monitor, report, and make recommendations on edits needed to project activities and budget
  • Create schedule, agendas and lead a data advisory group related to the project
  • Build and manage relationships with key internal and external project stakeholders
  • Help develop materials and presentations on the benefits of collecting standardized client data

Research and Data Skills

  • Analyze results of a readiness assessment and produce reports for a variety of stakeholders
  • Visit agencies to observe and understand capacity and needs regarding service insights
  • Research software to determine potential solutions or strategies to meet CTFB needs
  • Identify potential pitfalls and solutions for network data collection

You are a great candidate if you have

  • Have a Bachelor’s degree with at least three years of experience working with client data
  • Experience working with a database or client management system; troubleshooting software applications and functional issues at the client level
  • Take data integrity personally, knowing that reports and insights are only as good as the information put into the system in the first place
  • One to two year of project management experience, with a proven ability to plan and facilitate successful community meetings or events
  • Strong and effective interpersonal and communication skills
  • Able to deliver presentations and reports that include technical information
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Windows and Office environment (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and standard office equipment
  • A valid government-issued Driver’s License and proof of auto liability insurance, willingness to travel and use personal vehicle

  • Bilingual in Spanish and English
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Experience collecting intake data from clients in healthcare or social services settings
  • Prior experience in the food system
