If you do not prepare for the TSI (Texas Success Initiative) Assessment then you may receive a lower score that does not reflect your actual skills and knowledge.
A low score could mean that you are placed in one or more courses to improve your skills. Students enroll and pay for these courses although they provide no credit towards a degree or certificate.
