To all members of PTK who would like service hours, there is an upcoming opportunity this Saturday, September 7th, at the UT game vs LSU. Details below. Contact Nathan Dixon (512-969-0273, [email protected]) to sign up for this event.
The next game will be Saturday, September 7th, starting at 2:30pm and ending at 10:30pm.
You should get there 30 minutes early to compensate for finding parking and getting signed in. Parking is not free and if you park at the parking garage across the highway it will be $30.
There is a Dennys a little further down where the parking for the game is $15. Carpooling is suggested so that the cost of parking can be split or shared.
Make sure that you have on TAN PANTS, TAN SKIRTS, OR TAN SHORTS in order to be allowed to volunteer. You will not get in otherwise.
Also dress cool because it will be hot. You are recommended to bring your own water container just no water bottles unless the brand names are taken off. A hat is also suggested for you to bring.
The meeting spot is Gate 32 if you get there early enough because the group later moves inside the building to get signed in. Make sure you sign in on the sheet that has Phi Theta Kappa at the top of it in order for PTK to get paid.
The game will be against LSU and it will definitely be a good one. So sign up while you still can!
