The web team redesigned the Students landing page to support the needs of current students, which they indicated through user surveys and other forms of research.
Students explained they want less clutter on the webpage, transparent menus for links, and easy access to common resources. While they appreciate social media, news articles, and calendar events, many students reported the additional content is unnecessary because the webpage’s primary use is to accomplish tasks.
The Students webpage that’s part of the new redesign places important information front and center and provides quick access to user-authenticated personal content under the “MyACC” heading. It gives quick access to highly valued content such as help resources, frequently used links, and important dates and deadlines. Headings and menus now are organized based on student input and testing.
Imagine yourself as a current ACC student and discover your new home on ACC’s redesigned website by taking a look at the Students page.

The name for Continuing Education needs to be changed. We offer more than that. The listings under Education should include Teacher Certification, ParaEducator Training, Continuing Professional Education in addition to the ones listed for interpreting and translation. Again, there should be a choice on the main web page of Academic and Continuing Education for students and potential students to choose from.
