SACSCOCThe Austin Community College District is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) to award associate degrees and certificates. SACSCOC is the body for the accreditation of degree-granting higher education institutions in the Southern states. It serves as the common denominator of shared values and practices primarily among the diverse institutions in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia and Latin America and certain other international sites approved by the SACSCOC Board of Trustees that award associate, baccalaureate, master’s, or doctoral degrees. The mission of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges is to assure the educational quality and improve the effectiveness of its member institutions.

ACBSPThe Real Estate College Credit program is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP). Founded in 1988, the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP) is a global business education accrediting body and the first organization to offer accreditation to all levels of collegiate business educational degree programs from associate to doctoral. ACBSP ignites a standard of excellence with an accreditation process based on the Baldrige Education Criteria for Performance Excellence. By evaluating aspects of leadership, strategic planning, relationships with stakeholders, quality of academic programs, faculty credentials, and educational support, ACBSP assesses whether or not business programs offer a rigorous educational experience and commitment to continuous quality improvement.

TRECThe Real Estate College Credit program is also accredited by the Texas Real Estate Commission (TREC). TREC was established in 1949 to safeguard consumers in matters of real property transactions and valuation services. Together TREC and Texas Appraiser Licensing and Certification Board (TALCB), oversee real estate brokerage, real property appraisals, inspections, right-of-way services, and timeshare. The agency provides licensing, education, and complaint investigation services, as well as regulation and enforcement of state laws and requirements that govern each of these areas of service to consumers in Texas. All of our College Credit courses are certified by TREC and five of them also meet Sales Apprentice Education (SAE) requirements.
