Fall Semester Showcase Deliverables

Hello RTFrs!
With graduation on December 16th, the showcase will be on Wednesday, December 14th at 8pm in the Northridge 4136 Auditorium.  This year we are partnering with Photography to include cross-promoting their print and award show, the later which will be in the auditorium right before us.  Since we share many Visual Mixed Media students, this convergence of our events makes great sense.

For production classes, the deadline for students to submit films or media to the showcase is Wednesday, December 7th by 5pm.  Students can of course work on their projects beyond this date, but if not finished should submit their best work in progress as needed by the deadline for screening purposes.   Even if your film is not finished in time for the screening, we strongly encourage students to deliver their films when completed so we can feature them on the RTF website.

Your films need to be delivered to Kevin Anderson by Wednesday Dec 7th at 5pm.

The next thing you’ll need to do is fill out RTF’s online form so that we have information not just for the showcase but also for our archives.  Use this link to access the form and please use you’re Austin Community College email to login.

Requirements
File Extension: .mp4
Compression Codec: H.264
Max Bit rate: 32Mbps
Audio: MPEG- AAC, Stereo or 5.1, 48khz, 256kbps

Along with the MP4 copy of the film, please also deliver a Quicktime ProRes 422 LT version of your film for our archive.

Thank you very much for all your hard work and please contact me if you have any questions
