Student Ambassadors

Student Ambassadors are student leaders who work in the Office of Student Life and help to create community on campus. They engage students by providing them with social, multicultural, recreational and educational activities on campus.  They are here to help make students feel welcome and accepted on campus and help them stay connected and informed at ACC.
Student Ambassadors consist of two different types: Riverbat Ambassadors and Campus Ambassadors.

Are you interested in providing peer-to-peer mentorship and assisting with district-wide events? Riverbat Ambassadors work with students to provide academic support within their area of study and assist them with admissions, advising and more! In addition to valuable leadership training, Riverbat Ambassadors meet with Deans and various administrators to share their feedback on the student experience.

Joshua Silva

I am ACC because before coming to ACC, I was one of the laziest people I knew. It affected my production not just with school, but with life. When I think back on it, I’m disappointed in the amount of time I wasted in my earlier years. Once I attended ACC though, a light just suddenly turned on. It’s like someone came in and started to fix the lights one light at a time, and I would feel guilty if I didn’t say that ACC is a big part of that. ACC has sparked an energy in me that I wasn’t sure I would ever get. Something about the atmosphere that the student body and professors give off pushes me to be better. Most students at ACC seem to have their head on straight, and it tends to rub off on you. The same goes for the professors. The amount of professors I have encountered who are passionate about what they teach and who they’re teaching inspires me. I feel pushed to be the best me I can be. I am glad ACC has brought me to where I am today.
