Soaking Up the Sun – Point Reyes, CA
This summer my friend Samantha also took me to visit a national park in California. The beach pictures are of South Beach, home of one of the largest concentrations of white sharks in the world, with a strong undertow. No swimming allowed, but very pretty! We stayed in a house up on a mountain — the mornings were really foggy! I saw lots of cool trees, moss, and a whale skull on the way down to the Point Reyes lighthouse. It takes a whole 308 steps down the mountain to emerge under the fog!
Favorite Local Cuisine: Saltwater Oyster Depot; Station House Cafe
Favorite Tourist Spot: Point Reyes Lighthouse (especially in the fog!)
