Friday, May 4, 2018 the Teaching and Learning Excellence Division – TLED held an All TLED 2018 Spring Event at the Eastview Campus.
The event began with breakfast followed by speedy data reports from various leadership throughout TLED. Associate Vice President Dr. Susan Thomason also provided a data report and shared a few college-wide updates with the audience.
The second portion of the event opened a discussion on a New York Times article, Invisible Child. Employees discussed varying perspectives and brainstormed ways that TLED could have a positive impact on poverty and homelessness in our region. Evaluations for the event were sent out to all participants on May 7, 2018. The survey was closed on May 18, 2018. We received a 35% response rate. A summary of participant comments about the event can be found online.
