Many people are unaware of the tremendous scope and career potential within welding technology. It is such a diverse field that there is an application for virtually every personality type. It is no exaggeration to say that our students are learning to manufacture everything from drawer pulls to skyscrapers!
To meet the needs of aspiring professionals in these ever-expanding disciplines, we offer several AAS (Associate of Applied Science) degrees, as well as varied Certificates and a Marketable Skills Award. (Current 2019/ 2020 award plans)
One of the distinct differences between the AAS degrees and the certificates is that the degrees require five core curriculum courses, and thus they require that the student complete TSI testing. The certificates do not include these courses, and so they do not require the testing.
