The property cost $3.1 million, or $2 per square foot. It was located between Metric Boulevard and a new road to be constructed (Stonehollow Drive). ACC officials estimated that phase 1 of the the new, full-service facility, comprising three buildings and 88,000 square feet, would be ready for classes by fall of 1989.
