In October 1990, Austin Community College trustees voted to approve the purchase of the Pinnacle building, located on Highway 290 just west of the “Y” in Oak Hill. The ten-story office building will serve the southwest quadrant of ACC’s service district. Built for $8 million, the Pinnacle cost ACC only $2.8 million, with another $218,000 for nine acres adjacent to the building.
