Coming in October: Flex Factory

MBPT will be hosting an open mic for all ADM students every Friday from noon-3pm. The official launch date will be Friday, October 7th.The location will be in the Flex Studio, room 1420 (Bldg.2000), and will be dubbed the “Flex Factory”. Live Sound students, along with Faculty member Chuck Medlin, will be hosting and providing the sound, lights, and media support. The RTF department plans on participating by having their students record and stream the events. We picture ensembles, student bands, dance groups, spoken word, mixed media, and other performance based artist(s) working on their chops in this flexible space. The hope is that this will provide all of our ADM students a practical opportunity to share what they are working on in front of an audience. Think of it as a “Performance Incubator”. Let us know how you would like to be involved or if you have any questions, [email protected]. See you in October!
