Edition Variables 2023: New Austin Printmakers
Flatbed Center for Contemporary Printmaking is excited to announce their second annual exhibition that showcases Austin’s new and upcoming printmakers. This exhibition will feature work from students who are receiving their BFA, BA, BS, MFA, Post Bacc, or are receiving a certificate with a major or minor concentration in printmaking from an Austin area college or university. The exhibition seeks to represent a wide variety of new artists that are investigating and challenging what printmaking can be.
ELIGIBILITY:
This exhibition is open to all 2022-2023 BFA, BA, BS, MFA , Post Bacc, (or are receiving a certificate) graduates/candidates with a concentration or minor in printmaking from Austin area colleges or universities. If you graduated in 2022 or are set to graduate in 2023, you are eligible to apply for this year’s exhibition.
DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSION: SUNDAY, JUNE 25TH AT MIDNIGHT
EXHIBITION DATES: July 29th-August 26th
OPENING RECEPTION: Saturday, July 29th at 6pm
JURORS: Flatbed Director Katherine Brimberry & Master Printer Alyssa Ebinger
