Administrative Assistant

Program Overview

The program prepares students for technical and administrative support positions. After finishing the series, you will be proficient in computer applications and will have abilities in communication and interpersonal skills, administrative procedures, presentation skills, and decision-making.

According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, U.S. Department of Labor, administrative assistants held about 4.2 million jobs in 2006, ranking among the largest occupations in the U.S. economy. They are employed in organizations of every type ranging from education and health to government and retail trade.
