Language was added to allow for management discretion when establishing telework schedules.<\/li>\n<li>Language was added to support the requirement that all departments must ensure that in-person support is available at all times during the College&#8217;s standard hours of operation.<\/li>\n<li>A new Guideline\/Procedure regarding Faculty work location and expectations for on-campus presence was added.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/sites.austincc.edu\/administrative-rules\/?p=740\"><strong>Environmental Health and Safety Program<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The administrative rule was renamed (from &#8220;Safety and Environmental Management&#8221;) and rewritten to more concisely reflect the EHS department&#8217;s roles, operational requirements, and compliance obligations.<\/li>\n<li>The proposed changes clarify the corresponding responsibilities and expectations for the broader ACC community.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/sites.austincc.edu\/administrative-rules\/?p=499\"><strong>Field and International Studies (Study Abroad) Courses<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The value statement and program requirements were further developed to align with contemporary educational standards and instructional philosophy. <\/li>\n<li>The Guideline\/Procedure was redrafted to align with best practices.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/sites.austincc.edu\/administrative-rules\/?p=1536\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"1536\"><strong>Religious Holy Days<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The AR was approved for reaffirmation with no changes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><u>Rescinded<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>TCCTA Conference [4.0505.03]<\/li>\n<li>Career Development Services [5.0800.06]<\/li>\n<li>Informal Transfer [5.0303.01]<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/sites.austincc.edu\/administrative-rules\/?p=1103\"><strong>Accountability Framework for Non-Faculty Employees<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The administrative rule and guideline\/procedure were renamed (from &#8220;Progressive Discipline Procedures for Non-Faculty Staffing Table Employees&#8221;).<\/li>\n<li>The updated documents clarify and define current operational processes more effectively, and support the rights, responsibilities, and expectations of both employees and managers.<\/li>\n<li>HR was added as an approver in the process to ensure fairness and consistency on a case-by-case basis.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/sites.austincc.edu\/administrative-rules\/?p=782\">Fleet Management<\/a><\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The College has recently implemented a centralized fleet management model and established the Risk &amp; Fleet Management department as the district-wide authority for the oversight of fleet assets.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li>The administrative rule was renamed (from &#8220;College Vehicle Use and Upkeep&#8221;) and re-written to align with the new program.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/sites.austincc.edu\/administrative-rules\/?p=836\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"836\">Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment Management<\/a><\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The AR was renamed (from &#8220;Furniture and Equipment Acquisition&#8221;).<\/li>\n<li>The updated rule provides uniform standards that enhance clarity, streamline processes and ensure consistent management of furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&amp;E) across the College.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/sites.austincc.edu\/administrative-rules\/?p=1122\">Use of College Facilities<\/a> (AR and new G\/P)<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The AR was updated to include a section which addresses the implementation recent legislation (SB 8 \/ Texas Government Code Chapter 3002).<\/li>\n<li>A new G\/P was created:  7.0400.01.1, Use of Multi-Occupancy Private Spaces <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\" \/>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Administrative Rules Updated during FY25:<\/h2>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/sites.austincc.edu\/administrative-rules\/?p=1038\">Resolution of an Employee Grievance<\/a> (AR and G\/P)<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>A workgroup led by&nbsp;employee&nbsp;association leaders collaborated to draft the proposals which include input from a variety of stakeholders.<\/li>\n<li>The changes clarify the process, increase transparency, and address some specific feedback received from employees.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/sites.austincc.edu\/administrative-rules\/?p=1195\">Course Schedule Development and Assignment of Classrooms<\/a> (AR and New G\/P)<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The updated Administrative Rule reflects current and future goals related to strategic scheduling with a focus on predictability, responsiveness, and optimization. <\/li>\n<li>A new Guideline\/Procedure to support course schedule development was added. The G\/P highlights the engagement of instructional leaders and campus management personnel, emphasizing collaboration, coordination, transparency, communication, and continuous improvement.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"\/administrative-rules\/?p=1574\">Student Standards of Conduct and Disciplinary Process<\/a> (AR and G\/P)<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The AR went through&nbsp;substantial review, including input from general counsel.&nbsp; Language was repurposed to be more positive and affirming, expectations for good&nbsp;conduct&nbsp;were articulated not only regarding academic integrity, but also in relation to respect for others, responsible&nbsp;behavior, and regard for a safe learning environment.<\/li>\n<li>The <a href=\"\/administrative-rules\/?p=1567\">G\/P.2<\/a> is a dense and comprehensive document that includes definitions (new), articulation of the preponderance of the evidence standard, clarity around being a responsible student, and additional language related to illegal conduct.&nbsp; In addition, the processes related to determining misconduct and appealing such determinations was expanded and clarified. As with the related AR, this language was reviewed and approved by legal counsel. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"\/administrative-rules\/?p=1202\">Institutional Research Review<\/a><\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li> Updates reflect current style guidelines and titles, and provide clarity around the research&nbsp;review process.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>A clause was added regarding participation in other work groups (not directly associated with shared governance).<\/li>\n<li>The time frame for applicable compensation (new)<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The AR was created to:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Create and sustain a strong culture while promoting remote working opportunities when in the best interest of the College, and make available&nbsp;opportunities for remote&nbsp;<span class=\"il\">work<\/span>&nbsp;when it is in the best interest of ACC and meets the needs of ACC\u2019s business operations.<\/li>\n<li>The documents were edited significantly in order to provide concise terms and conditions, expectations, definitions, and responsibilities. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"\/administrative-rules\/?p=1038\">Resolution of an Employee Grievance<\/a><\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The revision process included collaboration and feedback from the ad hoc committee that was formed for this purpose as well as various ACC stakeholders, and legal counsel.<\/li>\n<li>The revised AR created a singular process that does not distinguish between complaints and grievances (in line with board policy DGBA).<\/li>\n<li>The new position of Employee Relations Officer (ERO) was created. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"\/administrative-rules\/?p=731\">Internal Audit<\/a><\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The AR was updated to: <br \/>&#8211;  Incorporate the \u201cInternal Audit Charter\u201d (formerly located on the Finance &amp; Administration website),<br \/>&#8211;  Clarify the subject, and<br \/>&#8211;  Ensure consistent language throughout the
